However, these images below are my images and how I edited them.
To create this type of effect of double exposure I used Photoshop and - Dragged the daffodil image onto an image of a palm tree leaf - Dragged the daffodil image to the correct position and resized it - I applied a layer filter called "screen" - Cropped the image .
This image was unsuccessful because of the fact that it was overcrowded and there were too many things happening but to make this a better picture I would have to make sure the contrast is right and have one simplistic picture and one dramatic one.
Final Piece
For my final piece I have an idea to get a canvas and stick some of my images in the centre and then a few loose images around the sides.
This was my practice piece on canvas (last image) and blackout material (first two) I think that I could work with the material with canvas and get the texture to be part of my piece.
This is my first draft of what my piece should look like, the four pictures representing the four seasons.
Design idea
Here's what I had thought of before I thought of doing my final piece on canvas because it is so simple.
Final piece
Evaluation
I like that my piece was very simplistic however because of it it stopped me from showing my skills in creativity and photography I think that because the execution of my final piece it didn't really work like I didn't practice doing the ironing on of the paper and testing it out on different materials . In general this part of unit 1 helped me find out what my style of work is and help me grow as a photographer some of my older pictures look really bad however my most recent pictures I have explored different techniques used tips like the rule of thirds, focus point, different point of views etc. So overall this unit has been a big help in getting me the grade I want and the growth in photography.
